Individual Sessions

Our Therapeutic Process:

  • Assessment – Meet 1:1 with your therapist to evaluate the optimal treatment plan for you or your loved one.
  • MT Recommendations – Receive recommendations tailored to your needs and music interests.
  • MT Treatment – Meet 1:1 with your therapist to work toward goals agreed upon through music interventions.
  • Reassessment – Continue collaborating with your therapist in order to update goals regularly so that your ever-changing needs are met.
  • Discharge – Many find music therapy is beneficial throughout their lives, but when appropriate, a discharge plan will be created in collaboration with your therapist. This allows continued maintenance or improvements of the skills cultivated during your time with PNMT.

Testimonials

“You [Dustin] have really touched our lives. Thank you for being a source of strength for [client and client]. I have seen so much progress happening with them. Because of you, they have not only embraced their instruments but also have found support and trust in you to help them cope with their worries, grief, and all kinds of emotions. They really look forward to their sessions with you each week. I am so grateful for you helping my family heal.”

“Thank you [Dustin] for all you have done for my dad that earned you the name ‘minister.’ Thank you for all the coordination of in-person visits, FaceTime visits and even parking lot visits. Thank you for all the communication you did for our family and being such a dedicated advocate for our family.”

“Dustin, I want to thank you for the many times you brought music to [client] and to me at [facility]. We always looked forward to your visits and always felt a spirit of peace and joy from the songs you played and from your gentle and soothing voice. You gave us an oasis to lift us away from the noise and small space [client] lived in.”

“[Bailey] I cannot resist commenting on your work with this particular patient. While I know [patient] enjoys your time and talent, you brought one of our nurses to tears when singing with him last Friday. Thank you for sharing your gift with our patients. Dustin has been beyond extraordinary since the beginning and it is remarkable to have you both now serving our community like this and we all look forward to the days either of you are here!”
